An Accra Circuit Court today [Wednesday] permitted the screening of a video clip capturing embattled Hiplife artiste, Wisa Greid’s exposure of his genitals to a live audience.
The clip, is the main evidence put forward by the prosecution in the case in which the artiste, born Jerry Agbenovor, is facing charges of gross indecent exposure.
The video was finally shown after two failed attempts.
Wisa Greid was arrested and subsequently arraigned in December 2015, after a performance at Citi FM’s Decemba to Rememba Concert, where he openly rubbed his manhood behind a female dancer on stage.
He has since pleaded not guilty to the charges.
The court earlier issued a bench warrant for his arrest, after he failed to appear before it.
Wisa showed a dildo, not his genitals – Lawyer
Wisa’s Lawyer, Jerry Agbenovor, earlier in his defence said he only showed a dildo and not his genitals at the Accra International Conference Center.
A dildo is an object having the shape and often the appearance of an erect penis, used in sexual stimulation.
But the lawyer on Wednesday said the police were being selective in their action since other persons including self-acclaimed controversial Pastor, Bishop Obinim, allegedly fondled a man’s penis on TV under the pretext of healing him from impotence.
