A Florida man abandoned his robbery attempt when he walked into a local 7-Eleven and found no one inside the store. Police in Bradenton received reports of an attempted robbery on Tuesday morning when a masked man entered a 7-Eleven at 5:44 a.m.

The store clerk witnessed the masked men enter the store wielding a handgun but told police he left the store after he looked around and saw that no one was in the store.

Police arrived on the scene shortly afterward but the clerk informed him that nothing was stolen and no one was injured in the would-be robbery.

The man was described as being about six feet tall, and wearing a blue hoodie and blue jeans.
