50yrs after his overthrow: Nkrumah’s track record against the others


Exactly 50 years ago today, Ghana’s founding President Dr. Kwame Nkrumah was overthrown in a joint military and police led coup d’etat.

During his 9 year reign, his government chalked some major successes in the area of physical infrastructural development, education, transportation among others.
