Musicians Storm GIMPA Walk

On Saturday, February 27, some of Ghana’s best musicians including Kwasi Pee, Kwaw Kesse, Nii Funny, Jupiter and BET award winner Stonebwouy will join staff and students of the Ghana Institute of Management and Public Administration (GIMPA) for a health walk which will end with a music concert.

Youth and Sports Minister-designate Nii Lante Vanderpuye is expected to lead the walk which will start from the school’s campus through Tetteh Quarshie interchange and back to the school.

He will be supported by the Deputy Rector of GIMPA, Prof Philip Duku Osei, Director of Students Affairs, Mrs Juliana Appiah and members of the SRC.

As has been the practice with health walks, the Gold Star Consult-arranged exercise would be followed by aerobics, a five-a-side soccer competition and a special health screening programme.
GIMPA’s Prof Philip Duku Osei underscored the importance of regular exercise and urged all to make it a habit.
In like manner, Sammy Anim Addo of Gold Consult and student of the school said the event is in line with the mission and vision of the GIMPA community in providing a platform for dynamic, social and healthy lifestyle aside delivering world class education.

The maiden GIMPA health walk and fun day, themed “GIMPA: One Faculty! One Student! One Community”, is sponsored by Mama Vits Rice and Noodles, Vita Milk and Liberty Capital.
