One of Ghana’s female highlife musicians, Akosua Adjepong, will rock Takoradi with a live musical concert on March 5 at the Atlantic Hotel to celebrate this year’s Ghana’s Independence Day which falls on March 6.
As the headline act, Akosua is expected to delight fans with her danceable songs and dancing skills.
She will perform alongside some selected highlife music giants such as Nana Kwame Ampadu, Amandzeba Nat Brew, Paapa Yankson, AB Crentsil, Obaapa Christie, K.K Fosu, Daddy Lumba, among others.
The musician, an ambassador for breast cancer in the country, has promised to perform some of her hit songs such as ‘Frema’ ‘Medo Wo’, ‘Meye Obaa’, ‘Asiwa’, ‘Odo Bema Mesunko’, ‘Aware’, among others.
She mentioned that the event will give Ghanaian highlife music fans in Takoradi and its environs the best entertainment, adding, “We have a lined up seasoned highlife musician who will mount the stage to entertain patrons one after the other. Ghanaian music fans in Takoradi should come and experience an extraordinary live band musical concert with the best when it comes to highlife music,” she said.
