About 61 people were killed on Wednesday when a Metro Mass Transit (MMT) bus traveling from Tamale to Kumasi crashed into a truck fully loaded with tomatoes.
The accident happened on the road near the Kintampo waterfall.
The Brong Ahafo Regional Police Public Relations Officer, ASP Christopher Tawiah told Citi News that the incident occurred because the MMT bus was overtaking another vehicle on a sharp curve and ended up colliding with the truck.
