Happy FM unites 28 couples in Holy matrimony on Vals Day

The atmosphere at the Accra International Conference Centre was filled with love and excitement on Valentine’s Day February 14, as 28 couples were joined in holy matrimony at the 11th Edition of the annual Happy FM Valentine Mass Wedding.

The Valentine Mass Wedding which is an annual CSR event of Happy FM, continues to gain popularity as it blesses many more homes in the country.

The ceremony was officiated by a selection of well-known religious leaders including Rev. Eric Amanoo from the Royal House Chapel International. Ohemaa Mercy and Annette D also electrified the atmosphere with their amazing performances.

According to Mr. Kwame Gyan, Head of Brands Communication and Marketing at the Global Media Alliance Broadcast Company, the parent company of Happy FM, “the success of this 11th edition of the mass wedding shows how determined we are at Happy FM to continue to positively impact the lives of many more families. This year’s event is an improvement of the previous years in all stages due to the hard work invested into it and the fact that we want to sustain it for a very long time.”

‘’We are concerned about the welfare of families as a station and we believe the best way to show love on Valentine’s Day is to bring many more families together through this event, adding that, ‘’we thank all our sponsors and listeners for supporting us make this event a success.’’

This year’s mass wedding was successful by all standards, as the conference was filled to capacity.

As part of the celebration, the couples, their families and friends were treated to a mouth-watering reception at the Officers Mess, Burma Camp. They also received packages which included weekend relaxation at Erata Hotel together with gift vouchers.

The Happy FM Valentine Mass Wedding is an annual CSR initiative by Happy 98.9 FM, one of Ghana’s leading sports stations.

The station offer couples the opportunity to tie the knot at virtually no cost to them.
