Barely 24 hours after the nation was badly shaken by a gory road crash at Kintampo that claimed dozens of lives, there had been another crash, this time at Kona in the Sekyere-South District.
Seventeen people suffered deep cuts and broken bones, when a mini-bus and a Nissan Pick-up collided head-on.
The direct cause of the collision is yet to be determined.
The District Police Commander, Akwasi Asante, told the media that nobody had been confirmed dead as of yet, however many of the victims are in a critical condition and have been rushed to the Agona Government Hospital.
