On Valentine’s Day, love takes center stage and has all human pulses up – It is one of the days everyone gets to show a bit of their softer sides.
The day comes with its unique emotional package; one that is infectious enough to get even the toughest of men falling for the age-old tradition.
For this year, Echo House, a creative marketing agency decided to take one for the team and put sharing ahead of everything.
This year, love came full circle with sharing and in no small terms than sharing with underprivileged kids in Accra, Kumasi, Sunyani and Cape Coast.
With over 20 chapters across the country, students who belong to Echo decided to show these children what it means to be loved and went out of their way to teach, cook and have fun with them.
The activities varied from musical chairs to dancing competition to learning and motivational sessions from students who have been able to change their circumstances in remarkable ways.
For Echo, it is important to have a strong societal influence in other to effect the sort of changes you want to see and that was what informed students to share not just their love but their stories with these children in the 4 regions.
This is the first of a series of socially responsible acts Echo House has planned for the year.
Starting with a bang so far, Saturday offered the children a smile and a hope that it is not all lost as there is still light at the end of the tunnel.
