The President of the Ghana Rugby Football Union(GRFU), Herbert Mensah has threatened to file a legal suit against the Ministry Of Youth and Sports if they fail to pay him his money which the ministry owes him after funding the national rugby team to Burkina Faso last year with his personal money.
He said “last year we went to Burkina Faso and i funded the trip with $66,000 that they owe me,and is only a matter of time we take them to court,so that Ghanaians start getting serious”.Mr Herbert made this statement at the semi finals stage of the GRFU league in Accra.
The former Chief Executive Officer of Kumasi Asante Kotoko also emphasized how the state is obliged to the help the youth of this country in all sporting disciplines and not to only concentrate on football,because everyone is good at something.
