Aston Villa striker Jordan Ayew has been named in the top 20 rough tacklers in the English Premier League.
The Ghana international is 13th on the table with a foul count of 35 and tied with three others Diego Costa (35), Mousa Dembele (35) and Aaron Ramsey (35).
It is bad publicity for the summer signing who was sent off for elbowing West Ham United’s Aaron Cresswell in an off the ball incident.
He was subsequently handed a three game ban and fined after apologizing publicly to his Aston Villa boss and teammates.
Ghanaian-born Norway international Alexander Tettey emerged as the 11th dirtiest tackler with a total of 42 fouls.
Tottenham Hotspur Eric Lamela tops the list with a total of 46 fouls.
Ayew is Aston Villa’s top scorer this season with five goals from 19 matches.
