SuperSport TV has confirmed the opening live broadcast for the 2016 Ghana Premier League will the WAFA SC-Asante Kotoko clash in Sogakope on 20 February, GHANASoccernet.com understands.
This will be the opening fixture for the season and will be played at the WAFA Stadium.
Last season, the Academy Boys beat the dethroned league champions 1-0 at the same venue.
The second live match for Week 1 will be Inter Allies’ home clash against Aduana Stars at the Tema Park on Sunday.
Week Two’s will have three live matches starting with a Friday kickoff between New Edubiase United versus Ebusua Dwarfs on 26 February.
The next live match will be at the Golden City Park where Berekum Chelsea host WAFA on 27 February.
Top-liner will be on Sunday at the Baba Yara Stadium when Asante Kotoko host AshantiGold on 28 February.
