Ghana and Former Schalke midfielder Anthony Annan is expected to arrive in Finland today to conclude his return to the Finnish side HJK Helsinki.
Ghana’s leading football news website GHANAsoccernet.com broke the news on Monday that the 29-year-old midfielder had agreed a long-term contract with HJK where he spent six months on loan in the 2014/2015 season.
According to authentic reports in the Finnish capital of Helsinki, Annan is expected in on Friday to begin his arrival process.
The Ghanaian returns to HJK with huge experience having featured for his nation Ghana in the 2010 world Cup where the Stars punched above their weight.
A holding midfielder with enviable energy, Anthony Annan will be hoping for stability having played for Stabaek 2x, Rosenborg, Schalke, Vitesse, Osasuna and Munich 1860 all in the space of seven years.
