Asante Kotoko skipper Amos Frimpong is not under pressure in his capacity as the leader of the Porcupine Warriors insisting he feels comfortable handling the armband.

The vociferous fans of the Oseikrom Boys have always demanded more from the team putting them under pressure to perform but the captain of the side says he has always handled the situation.

“I don’t feel under pressure as the captain of Asante Kotoko. Not at all. In know it comes with huge responsibilities but I have always handled the situation.

“I know many great players have held the position before but I don’t look at what they did to put me under pressure. I always look at what I can do during my time. And that does not put me under pressure,” Amos Frimpong noted in an interview with GHANAsoccernet.com

Many great player like current General Manager of the side, Samuel Opoku Nti have captaianed the Porcupine Warriors in the 80s but the current skipper insists it is a normal role to play.

“Wearing the armband like Opoku Nti and other great players is only a source of pride for me and does not put me under any pressure,” he added.
