Many players who have played under current Asante Kotoko manager have testified his managerial acumen and his human relationship.

The captain of the Porcupine Warriors in an interview with GHANAsoccernet.com has revealed that the presence of former Ghana U-17 manager is always a morale booster to the team.

“Duncan’s presence is always a morale booster for us the players. He is a motivator and makes us understand that we can do better all the time,” Amos Frimpong disclosed.

The outspoken head coach of the Porcupine Family managed to place second with the team after taking over from former trainer Didi Dramani who parted ways with the Reds.

The captain of the side insists that the trainer has managed to sustain the confidence of the team such that the players trust him more than any other coach on the local scene now.

“He is now the best coach in Ghana. I am not saying this because I am a Kotoko player but because of what he has taught me. He has taken us through a lot and I think he is the best.”

“Anytime he speaks to us, he tells us we are the best in the country and must give the best results. We always feel happy and relaxed seeing him at training,” Amos added.

Duncan’s pre-season preparations has compelled many to tag the improving Kotoko side as a winsome side ready to reclaim the league title after putting up excellent performances in the pre-season.
