Anderlecht winger Frank Acheampong
Anderlecht winger Frank Acheampong left the pitch on Friday night with a knee injury against Sint-Truiden.
The Ghana international was handed a staring role in their 2-1 win with goals from Yoeri Tielemans and Guinean Idrissa Sylla.
It is unknown how long Acheampong would stay out but he is expected to be fit for Friday’s trip to KV Mechelen.
“Frank has a cyst in the knee. That hurts when he is overstretching his leg,” Anderlecht coach Besnik Hasi said.
Acheampong has made 14 appearances this term for Anderlecht.
