The maiden edition of Ghana Muslims Achievers Awards came off successfully last Friday at the National theatre.
A lot of Muslim men and women both young and old were recognised and awarded for their achievements, some include Dr. Mahmud Bawumia (Political Personality of the Year), Dede Ayew (Sports Personality of the Year), Mohammed Polo (Lifetime Achievement Awards (Sports and Entertainment) among others.
The event was graced by the National Chief Imam Sheikh Dr. Osmanu Nuhu Sharubutu, Zongo chiefs from Nigeria, Dr. Mahmud Bawumia and other distinguished ladies and gentlemen who are contributing their quota to the development of our dear nation.
