GHACEM Limited, leading cement manufacturer, has rewarded its valued customers and distributors for their loyalty in 2015.

The awards ceremony, which was held in Accra at the Mövenpick Ambassador Hotel, brought together the company’s customers from across the country.


Erduk Company Limited of Kumasi Sales outlet won the Top Distributors award, while Isaac Owusu Ansah Enterprise also from Kumasi Sales outlet took the 1st Runner Up position.

Takoradi-based distributor, Jos-Aja Enterprise took the 2nd Runner-up position, same position he occupied in 2014.

Other awardees on the night were: Awellam Company Limited (Tema), Most Improved Distributor; Erduk Company Limited, Best Branded Outlet; Solonash Enterprise (Tema), Most Loyal Distributor; Clemonic Company Limited (Kumasi), Most Promising Distributor; Empire Concrete Limited, Brand Association award while Infinity Construction & Energy Limited was adjudged best depot transporter.

In his welcome address, the Commercial Director of GHACEM, Nana Philip Archer, said despite the economic challenges the industry faced in 2015, his outfit recorded significant achievement.


He attributed the efforts made in 2015 to the loyalty and hard work of the company’s cherished customers.

“Our customers have ensured we sustain our market leadership position and we say Ayekoo.

Delivering the keynote address, the Managing Director of GHACEM, Morten Gade said the strides made by GHACEM would have not been possible if not for the relentless effort of its customers and distributors, stating that “the company would continue to reward such loyalty and hard work.”

He said GHACEM has been at the fore-front of Ghana’s infrastructural development, producing quality cement for more than 50 years.

Mr Gade said an investment in GHACEM cement is an investment in quality made-in-Ghana product.

He urged the customers to continue patronizing GHACEM cement, explaining that GHACEM uses local raw materials, including 25 percent limestone, in the production of its Super Rapid cement.
