Medeama coach Tom Strand believes Kotoko hold the aces to reclaim the Ghana Premier League crown this season.
The record Ghanaian title holders have fortified their squad with 11 new additions ahead of the new campaign.
Kotoko have enjoyed a decent run in the off-season, using a perceived second string side to win the G6 tournament in Sekondi earlier this month.
The Porcupine Warriors have been tipped by many to reclaim the crown and Medeama coach Tom Strand admits the local giants will be the toughest opponent.
“Kotoko last year they didn’t prove well. I also think Ashantigold and Aduana will be tough,” he told Accra-base Starr FM
But for me Kotoko will be the biggest opponent this season.”
Kotoko will host FA Cup holders Medeama in a high-profile friendly on Sunday at the Baba Yara stadium.
