Michael Adomako (Mike), the other half of the music duo Willie ‘N’ Mike is advocating for the boycott of this year’s Vodafone Ghana Music Awards by Ghanaian gospel musicians.
In a Facebook post dated 23rd January 2016, he said that gospel music is not properly represented in the awards scheme as organizers cannot identify trendy worship songs.
His post read;
Gospel music has the least representation on the Ghana Music Awards Board. Panelists can hardly identify trendy worship songs…..what a shame !!! I think gospel musicians have to boycott this award thing.(my advice)
