Vice President of the Ghana Football Association George Afriyie has confirmed the association is monitoring Atletico Madrid youngster Thomas Partey as well as Ghanaian-born Spanish attacker Inaki Williams.

Both players have been a phenomenon in the Spanish La Liga this season for their respective Clubs.

Partey, 20, is one of the rising Ghanaian footballers who have hogged the headlines in Spain with his incredible display for Madrid this season.

Williams who has also scored 10 goals so for Athletico Bilbao this season remains a prospect for the Ghana Football Association who are eager to a complete a Nationality switch for the player to feature for the Black Stars.

George Afriyie in an interview with Atinka FM says the FA is keeping an eye on the two players for a possible Black Stars call-up.

“The FA is monitoring a lot of players. The FA is Partey, Inaki and another player from Germany a lot of them.

“In monitoring our lenses they are a lot of Ghanaians and we have to leave that for the technical team.

The Ghana Football Association will be hoping to complete the National Switch of Inaki Williams soon to enable the player featured for the Black Stars at the 2017 Africa Cup of Nations.
