Head Coach of Sekondi Hassacas, Yusif Basigi has said that his new signing, Eric Bekoe would surely prove a remarkable point in the upcoming season.
The Former Asante Kotoko and former Heart of Lions striker signed a deal with Hasaacas during the last day of the GPL window.
The former Ghana Premier League goal king penned a one-year deal for the Sekondi-based side but Yusif Basigi believes that Bekoe has what it takes to prove a point.
“I requested for the striker through a brother, i know what he is capable of, so i didn`t hesitate when the suggestion came, everyone knows his scoring abilities though it’s been long time he played a competitive football but he will definitely prove a point”, he said.
Bekoe has been out from competitive football for more than a year having picked up the setback at his former Club Berekum Chelsea.
His deal with Lebanese Club Tripoli Athletic fell through after sustaining an injury while training with the Club upon his arrival to sign a one-year deal.
