Actress/Producer Benedicta Gafah (CEO of Dictabee Movie Production) who produced two movies last year “Odo Asa” and “Afia Yakubu” is hoping to win awards with her movie “Afia Yakubu” which had 12 nominations at Kumawood Awards 2015/2016.
Kumawood Awards takes place at the Golden Tulip Hotel, Kumasi on Saturday 23rd January 2016.
Speaking exclusively to Ghanaflow.net, the pretty Actress/Producer stated that she will be happy to see Agya Koo pick an award in this year’s Kumawood Awards for his wonderful performance in movie “Afia Yakubu”.”
Getting 12 nominations at the Kumawood Awards tells it all, Afia Yakubu is an awesome Movie and I will be happy to see Agya Koo pick an award this year as well as Director Rev Aidoo who was also nominated for Best Director category (Afia Yakubu)”, Benedicta Gafah said.
Agya Koo was nominated for both Best Actor lead and Best Actor (Supporting) for his splendid performance in “Afia Yakubu”.
Benedicta Gafah was also nominated for Best Actress (Lead) and Most Favorite Actress.
