Belgium-based Ghanaian artiste, Samuel Nana Kwakye, known in the music scene as Oboy Sika, promises to cause a stir on the Ghanaian music scene again this time with his gospel album titled ‘Enufu Baatan’.

According to Oboy Sika who left the shores of Ghana five years ago, My new album will set a standard for gospel music in Ghana because all the songs on it talks about the faithfulness of God and the reason why Christians should give thanks to Him and also sacrifice for one another.”

He disclosed that although he never dreamt of ever becoming a gospel artiste, his presence on the gospel music scene is the work of God who wants to use him to spread the Gospel of Christ through music.

With three highlife albums to his credit, he is optimistic that his inspirational gospel album would shoot his image into the limelight and give him the needed recognition to evangelise the word of God to His people through his songs.

Some of the tracks such as ‘Yen Bre Nie’, ‘Yesu Mogya’ which are very inspiring, according the artiste, will get a lot of reviews and airplays on both radio and TV stations.

Oboy Sika added that he expects his current album to do better on the market than his highlife albums because all the songs are unique, enjoyable and educative.
