Hearts of Oak assistant trainer Yaw Preko has disclosed that former Asante Kotoko striker Eric Bekoe is the right striker for the club at the moment.
According to the former Black Stars winger, the technical team of the Phobians, led by Japanese Kenichi Yatsuhashi will be very pleased if management is able to secure the signature of the goal poacher for them.
He added that the current state of the team needs a potent striker who can lighten the attack of the ailing side.
Reports in the media revealed a few days ago that the former Asante Kotoko striker has reached an agreement to don the Rainbow colours.
But a source close to the club has hinted that management are considering poaching former Hearts of Lions striker Samuel Yeboah instead of Eric Bekoe.
But a grapevine source close to Yaw Preko has revealed to GHANAsoccernet.com that the technical team is not happy with the choice.
Disclosing the news, the source said Yaw Preko insists that he knows Eric Bekoe is better than Samuel Yeboah and knows what he has under his sleeves for the Oak family.
Management is however set to come out with a decision on whether to register the player or not as the registration door closes on Wednesday, 20th January.
