The lifeless body of a 56- year- old man was found yesterday dangling on a rope on a farm at the outskirts of Komfoeku, a farming community near Shama in the Western Region.
The deceased, whose name was given as John Krah, was a labourer with the Ghana Highway Authority in the Western Region.
He was said to have left the house about two days ago and all efforts by the family to trace his whereabouts proved futile.
James Tufful, the 25-year-old son of the deceased, who spoke to DAILY GUIDE, indicated that they were home yesterday afternoon when a relative rushed to inform the family that he had seen the body of John Krah hanging on a tree at his (the relative’s) farm.
The unfortunate news threw the whole farming community into a state of utter shock.
According the family members, the deceased did not have a problem with anyone; neither did he show any sign of wanting to commit suicide.
The body has since been deposited at the Effia Nkwanta Regional Hospital morgue in Sekondi by the police for autopsy.
According to a family source, the deceased left behind a wife and eight children.
