Ghanaian reggae musician Blakk Rasta real name Abubakar Ahmed has revealed in an interview with CareTV that Parliament made him extremely famous.

The controversial radio presenter disclosed that though he made derogatory statement on radio about Ghanaian MPs, other persons have said also worse things about the parliament but they have not been summoned to the House to respond to their comments.

He further stated that unfortunate incident was ordained by God and has made him more famous.

“After me a lot of people have said worse thing about the parliament have they dared to bring anyone of them before the parliament, so you should know that it was the doing of God.”

The former Hitz FM employee was alleged to have remarked on radio that 80 percent of MPs smoke marijuana (wee); and was found guilty by the Privileges Committee of Parliament after their interaction with him a few monhts ago.

Relating to Professor’s Duodu ‘Ebola’ comment, Blakk Rasta said “instead of sitting the Professor down so he can elaborate to the house on why he said Parliamentarians are ignorant of the Ebola disease, you (Parliamentarians) rather dragged him to come and apologize to you.”

According to him, Parliament went too far handling his matter but nonetheless, he said it made him a popular person, saying that he is now been referred to as ‘Honourable’.

“Parliament went too far, they made me extremely famous, so many thought I was also Member of Parliament so they now call me Honourable but they didn’t know I went to Parliament to answer questions,” Blakk Rasta added.
