Chinese Super League side Beijing Guoan are holding talks with Ghanaian midfielder Sulley Muntari.
Ghanasportonline.com had earlier revealed that the player was in contact with an unknown Chinese Club.
Sources close to the player have revealed Muntari has been communicating with officials of the former Chinese Champions.
The 31-year-old is planning to leave Saudi Club Al Ittihad with six months left on his contract.
The former AC Milan midfielder signed a one-year deal with the Saudi Club in July 2015 and has only spent six months with the oil-rich Club.
He could be on his way to join countryman and close pal Asamoah Gyan who plays for Shanghai SIPG also in the Chinese Super League
