Ghana attacker Yakubu Mohammed is demanding $30,000 from his team Raja Casablanca before terminating his deal with the Club.
The 25-year-old joined the Moroccan outfit from Ghana Premier League Champions Ashanti Gold.
The striker who has struggled to break into the first team at Raja has been asked by management to leave following the Royal Moroccan law which forbids team’s from signing more than four foreign players.
The Moroccan giants have been forced to release the striker having exhausted their slots with the signing of Ivorian Paul Moussa Bakayoko, Congolese Lema Mabidi, Nigerian attacker Christian Osaguona as well as Ghana defender Awal Mohammed.
Yakubu is reportedly demanding $30,000 from the former Moroccan Champions before terminating his contract.
Raja Casablanca recently terminated the contract of Ghanaian attacker Nathaniel Asamoah who also joined the Club from Medeama SC.
