A self styled pastor, Frank Sarkodie has been dragged to an Accra Circuit Court for allegedly inserting his fingers into the vagina of a three year old daughter of his lover and made the little girl suck his breast and penis.

The suspect who was staying with her lover and the victim but later drove them away after fingering the victim was put before an Accra Circuit Court and charged with indecent assault but he pleaded not guilty.

He has been granted bail in the sum of GH¢5,000 with two sureties while the case was adjourned to January 20 2016.

Narrating events leading to the arrest of the accused person, the prosecuting officer Duuti Tuaraka said the complainant and her daughter wanted a place to stay and were introduced to the pastor who lived in his own house through a certain Grace Ankamah aka Grandma, a witness in this case. The pastor accepted them.

He said in the month of September 2015 the accused person sacked the complainant and the victim from the house with the reason that his wife who had then travelled was returning.

He continued that the complainant and victim went and stayed with a witness in the neighbourhood. After sometime the witness noticed that the victim had been scratching her vagina.

He said the witness inspected the victim’s vagina and realised that there was a sore in it and during interrogation the victim disclosed that the pastor had inserted his finger into her vagina and made her suck his breast and penis while they were living in his house.

The police officer stressed that after treating the victim with herbs and hot pepper for sometime without success, the complainant went to Sarkodie and asked him to help treat the victim since he was the one who inserted his fingers into the victim’s vagina, allegation Sarkodie denied.

He said on November 28, 2015 the complainant made a report at Kwabenya Police Station and the case was later transferred to Domestic Violence Victim Support Unit (DOVVSU) and a police medical form was issued for the victim to attend hospital for examination and treatment.

The police officer stated that on December 11 2015 the suspect was arrested and arraigned after police concluded investigations.
