The Academy which is expected to have its sod cutting in April this year will be the extensive version of the youth team which is already establish in England.

The initiative is aimed at spotting talents on the continent to help feed-up the Arsenal football Club in England.

There will also be an exchange program between Arsenal football Academy in the UK and the yet to be established one in Africa (Ghana).

Arsenal Football Club is highly known for their strong youth system on the globe.

The Football Academy in England has natured African talents such as Alex Iwobi of Nigeria, Senegalese Armand Traoré, Alfred Mugabo of Rwanda as well as Congolese youngster Peggy Lokando.

Ghana duo Emmanuel Frimpong and Quincy Owusu-Abeyie are all products of the Arsenal football Academy.
