One of America’s best music writing Journalist Jonathan Bogart has commended Ghanaian artiste Jon Germain for his new single, saying it sounds “entirely plausible”.
He said Germain’s “Tell Me” Production is as good as anything Drake or Chris Brown has done in the past years.
Bogart, who is with the Atlantic USA magazine made his view known in an article he published which was tweeted by Germain.
According to him the last time the US record industry invested in an African pop star he was Akon and Germain who is the host of Drop Off on Starr 103.5FM deserves at least same success.
“Tell me is his newest single and a moderate hit in Africa, but it would sound entirely plausible coming from US radios, with production as coolly lush as anything Drake or Chris Brown has sung over in the last year.
“The last time the US record industry invested in an African pop star, he was Akon. Germain deserves at least the same success”.
