Michael Afrane posters pops up
Celebritytvgh.com has chanced on a poster circulating on social media network, Facebook which suggests that renowned Ghanaian Actor, Michael Afrane is preparing to contest as Independent Parliamentary Candidate for Manso Nkwanta constituency in the Amansie West district in Ashanti Region at this year’s general election.
The picture has generated lots of discussion on social media platforms among Ghanaians who have come across the picture.
It is not clear whether Michael Afrane known for featuring in many Kumawood movies will be aspiring for MP at 2016 election as an independent candidate or not as efforts made by celebritytvgh.com to reach him have proved futile.
Before Michael Afrane’s photo surfaced online, Kumawood actor Salinco born Abraham Kofi Davis had revealed his intention to aspire as MP on the ticket of Progressive Peoples Party (PPP) at Atwima- Kwawomang during this year’s general election.
“I just returned from Germany and am still working on my Bantama Kwasi Boakye TV series, but I still receive calls, Whatapp chat with members of the PPP with some leading members calling on me to file nomination”, Salinco said in an interview.
