COP Dr George Akuffu Dampare
The Accra Regional Police Commander has saluted Ghanaians within the Accra Metropolis for their support and cooperation during the Christmas and New Year police operations.
COP Dr George Akuffu Dampare in a statement said the Christmas and New Year activities which were usually characterized by lots of anxiety and expectations ended peacefully.
He confirmed that even though there were few avoidable motor accidents within the metropolis, there was total peace during the yuletide.
He urged motorists to be more careful on the roads in order to prevent accidents.
COP Dr Dampare, expressed his gratitude to loyal Ghanaians who volunteered information to the police for their operations which led to peaceful festivities.
He called on the public to support the police as it implements its third stage of “Operation Father Christmas”
The Accra Regional Commander also pledged his commitment towards creating a peaceful environment for all.
