Tigo treats customers to ‘12 Days of Blue Christmas’ with free gifts

For some, Christmas is a season of giving gifts, for others it is enriching lives. In the same spirit of giving and enriching lives, the country’s digital lifestyle brand, Tigo, is rewarding its loyal customers to make their Christmas a memorable one.

Dubbed the “12 Days of Blue Christmas”, and forming part of the company’s customer loyalty programmes, customers have received diverse Christmas gift on each of the twelve days.

To date, over 500 customers, have been rewarded with free tickets to watch movies at the Silverbird Cinemas and stage plays at the National Theatre, Golden Tulip in Kumasi and Akroma Plaza in Takoradi.

Additionally, customers received mobile phones, airtime to make calls and browse the internet. The initiative, which will reward over thousands of customers is expected to end on 31st December 2015.

Expressing his excitement, one of the winners Mr. Michael Gyimah, who was rewarded with a ticket to watch a stage play titled “What Can Come Can Come” said: “This ticket came at a time when I needed it eased my financial burden for the festive season. I am grateful to Tigo and I feel proud to be part the blue family.”

For Tigo, spreading love with customers during the most wonderful time of the year is the way to go, and its Director of Marketing, Jesse Agyepong puts it succinctly.

“It’s been a great year for Tigo – we have won many awards and empowered people to start a digital lifestyle journey. We owe all this to our customers and therefore find it necessary to say thank you for their contribution to Tigo.”

He explained that customers will continue to enjoy unmatched levels of customer care and innovative solutions designed to meet their changing needs.
