The National Democratic Congress (NDC) parliamentary candidate for Weija-Gbawe constituency Obuobia Darko-Opoku has urged Ghanaians to strive towards a “successful election 2016”.
In a New Year’s message to Ghanaians, she said safeguarding the peace of Ghana is crucial for the future generation.
According to her, the New Year provides an opportunity for all irrespective of political affiliation to reflect over the past.
“It is a time to reflect on the past year and to make resolutions for the New Year,” the deputy Executive Secretary of the Free Zones Board said in a Facebook post.
“It is therefore an opportune time for all of us to recommit ourselves to work for a better future for the Weija-Gbawe Constituency.
“I will like to thank everyone who is committed to pursuing the vision of a better Ghana and ensuring our country becomes the success we all want it to be.”
She added: “A successful election in 2016 is most critical to Weija-Gbawe and Ghana as a whole.
“Let us support H.E President John Dramani Mahama in the agenda of changing lives and transforming Ghana.”
