Asante Kotoko put up domineering performance to wallop Serbian side FK Jagodina 5-0 on Sunday at the Baba Yara Stadium in a 80th-anniversary match with a brace from Eric Donkor.

The Porcupine Warriors took the game for the scruff of the neck and fired the first warning shot to open the scoring on 13 minutes.

New signing Theophilus Nyame struck from close range and that was doubled four minutes later through captain Amos Frimpong.

Just after the half-hour mark, Donkor unleashed a thunderbolt from 25 yards to make it three for the hosts.

In the 56th minute, Donkor scored his personal second and Kotoko’s fourth.

By the hour mark, promising striker Dauda Mohammed scored the fifth to end the demolition exercise.

Jagodina had four Kotoko trialists on their bench as they jetted into town with few players.

The mammoth for Kotoko is a big boost for the Porcupine Warriors ahead of the start of the FirsTrust G6 tournament.
