Isaac Addo has been confirmed Ghana Football Association acting General Secretary following the exit of Emmanuel Gyimah.

Gyimah served the scribe for the Ghana FA after the departure of Kofi Nsiah in 2006.

The Ghana federation on Wednesday held a sending off party for the former Greater Accra Regional FA Secretary.

The Executive Committee will later meet to appoint a substantive replacement but in the meantime Addo who is a Deputy General Secretary in charge of Marketing will be in an acting capacity.

“The GFA Executive Committee has the right to appoint the General Secretary but that decision has not yet been taken,” GFA President Kwesi Nyantakyi told reporters on Thursday.

“Therefore the senior amongst all the Deputy General Secretaries which is Isaac Addo will take interim charge until such an appointment is made.”
