Two Sekondi Hasaacas players Kojo Poku and Anfo Adjei will be leaving the country for trials with an unnamed Zambian club by the close of next week, the club’s President has confirmed.

Midfielder Kojo Poku and defender Anfo Adjei were very impressive for the Sekondi giants in the 2014/15 league season and are set to join the unnamed Zambian club if they impress.

Nana Banyin Eyisson who is also an Executive Committee member of the Ghana Football Association disclosed that the Zambian outfit invited the Sekondi-based side for a four-team tournament including clubs from Mozambique.

He further noted that Hasaacas could not honour the invitation because of the uncertainty surrounding the start of the league.

Nana Banyin added that the club further called for the two players to travel to Zambia for the technical team of the Zambian outfit to observe them.

Even though the President of the club was tight-lipped on the team, sources close to the technical team disclosed to Ghanasoccernet.com that the players will be on trials at Zesco United.
