Former King Faisal midfielder Hamza Mohammed has called on the President of King Faisal FC, Alhaji Karim Grusah to desist from running the club with his family members and look for a strategic investor to take over the club.

According to the former King Faisal captain, the club has a huge potential of raising more national stars as well as competing strongly in the league but poor planning and bad managerial strategies by the President is thronging his former side into a dungeon of challenges.

The former U20 captain who was passionately addressing the issue added that the President of the club must detach the team from his family issues and open up for investors to come on board to help the club.

‘I think this is an open secret. Everyone knows it but it seems no one is not ready to point it out to Alhaji Grusah. The secret is that Alhaji has to open up and allow a strategic investor to take over the club so that he sits back and monitor things,’ Hamza told GHANAsoccernet.com.

‘Football has transformed tremendously and Alhaji must accept that fact and open up for people to come on board and help him.’

‘Alhaji is my father and has done a lot not only for King Faisal but for Ghana Football. The club does not deserve where they are now and something must quickly be done about it.’

‘It pains when I’m saying all these things but I have to because we have been part of it before and Alhaji must know that you can’t run a modern football club with family members. It does not work like that,’ he added.
