One of Accra\u2019s leading private schools, Crown Prince Academy is set to roll out e-learning platform to enable pupils have unlimited access to the school\u2019s educational materials while off campus.<\/p>\n

The project is expected to be fully-fledged in the latter part of 2015 as soon as the power situation in the country improves.<\/p>\n

Headmaster of the School, Joseph Appiah Addo announced this at the 12th<\/sup> graduation ceremony of the school Saturday.<\/p>\n

This, he said, would first be piloted at the Junior High School level, and based on its success, replicated at the upper primary (class 4 to 6) and subsequently to pupils in class 2 and 3.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe intend in the next five years to rebrand, reinvent and leverage our core business as an institution and also take advantage of the new economic concept,\u201d he added.<\/p>\n

In all, 100 students who recently sat the Basic Education Certificate Examinations were graduated and those who excelled in various disciplines while in school were awarded.<\/p>\n

Appiah Addo charged the graduants to make great impact as thinkers and innovators who are capable of fashioning out how to make Ghana proud.<\/p>\n

A renowned educationist Anis Haffar who was the guest of honour charged stakeholders in education to introduce practical strategies in teaching that will make students critical thinkers.<\/p>\n

He indicated that the grammar only curriculum will encourages examination malpractices because the students only chew, pass and forget.<\/p>\n

Anis Haffar advised the graduates from Crown Prince Academy to dedicate their leisure time to in-depth research and be curious to know more than engaging in irrelevant activities.<\/p>\n

At CPA, we strive at encouraging critical and analytical thinking, not only during instruction and contact hours, but also through the introduction of unique programmes.<\/p>\n

In the years to come, management will endeavour to roll out more innovative ideas and programmes that will manifest the principles we believe in.<\/p>\n
