\nHe made this known at Akyem-Osiem in the Abuakwa south constituency of the eastern region at the annual convention of Saviour church of Ghana.
\nAccording to president Mahama, alot accounts for the current power outages but said government has putting down long term plans to end the ‘dumsor’ once and for all and therefore appealed to ghanaians to have trust in the government.” We are having this ‘dumsor’ as a result of increase in population, the increasing use of electrical gadgets by individuals, poor conservation of energy as well as other factors but government is putting down long term plans to end it once and for all’ president Mahama noted.
\nPresident Mahama was not happy that despite the notion that ghanaians worships God most on the continent, corruption and drug peddling still remains a challenge to the country and called on all to be patriotic in whatever we do.
\nHe also commended the gallant black stars squad for their outstanding performance despite their poor start and appealed to all men of God to remember the team in players in order to bring the cup to Ghana after thirty-three years of cup drought.
\nThe General superintendent of Saviour church of Ghana, Opanyin Abraham Adusei who is also a member of council of state in his sermon express worry about the rise in corruption in the country since most leaders who involve in corrupt practices claim to be christians. He urged those in leadership positions to let their activities have positive impact on the ordinary ghanaian instead of serving their selfish interest.
\nOpanyin Abraham Adusei therefore commended the government for his commitment to end corruption as some alledged corrupt personalities are being investigated for the law to take it course.<\/p>\n
