Beposo(Ash) Jan 9——– Madam Amma Dapaah, 34,died through Bicycle accident at the outskirts of Beposo on the Beposo-Nsuta road in the Sekyere Central district in Ashanti region on Thursday, January 8.<\/p>\n
The woman, according to eyewitness accounts, was riding the bicycle with her ten year old boy child standing at the back and realizing the reckless nature of her mother\u2019s riding,jumped from the bike.<\/p>\n
The source said, the bicycle skidded off the road, hit a beam before she felt into a nearby gutter sustaining bodily injuries\u2019<\/p>\n
The child of the deceased shouted for help which attracted some people who quickly rushed to the place and took both the deceased and the child to Beposo Health Centre where she was treated and later on referred to Mampong District Hospital.<\/p>\n
When contacted on phone, Dr Kwadwo Nyarko Jectey, the Medical Superintended of Mampong Hospital said the deceased was sent to the hospital at 2.14pm on Thursday January 8, already dead.<\/p>\n
He said by the nature of her, death, they have to conduct autopsy to find the cause of the death after consultation with the family members of the deceased before releasing the body for burial.<\/p>\n
Mr Kwame Oduro, the uncle of the deceased described the woman\u2019s death as pathetic especially coming just eight days in the new year.<\/p>\n
She left behind four children.
