Former captain of Kumasi Asante Kotoko, Daniel Nii Adjei has taken a serious swipe at the club’s management insisting that they allow themselves to be maneuvered by local journalists.

The versatile TP Mazembe midfielder in a post on his facebook wall questioned the managerial acumen of the men at the helm of affairs blaming them for allowing journalists to take decisions for them.

In the post, the talented midfielder interrogated why the management allows, journalists to take decisions for them as they are running the club down with that style of leadership.

“Aww Kotoko management when will you stop listening to some of the journalists and run the team with your own decisions? Nii Adjei questioned.

Commenting further on the post, Nii Adjei who says he is not only a former Kotoko player but a die-hard fan said the management should be straightforward and do their job as none is indispensable.

“Very bad bro if you will be sacked, nothing can save you. Kotoko must be run as a big club and not as a small club run on the radio.”

The troubled Nii Adjei registered his anger on the management by asking that the current kit sponsorship of the club is even the brain child of a journalist.

‘I have heard that even the new Jersey they want to take, a journalist brought the deal so they want to cancel the good one and go for that one brought by the journalist.”

Kumasi Asante Kotoko were reported to have landed a $5000 kit sponsorship deal with Turkish kit manufacturers Lescon Sportwear but another kit sponsors Barex are reported to have ambushed the deal earlier this week.
