Ghana winger Christian Atsu is expected to cut short his loan stint with Bournemouth and return to parent club Chelsea in January, GHANAsoccernet.com understands.
Reports say the 23-year-old will return to Stamford Bridge following his struggles at the newly-promoted side.
Atsu returned to Bournemouth after undergoing stress fracture at Chelsea two weeks ago.
But fresh reports have emerged the Ghana international will be recalled by Chelsea.
The English champions will activate a clause in the deal to recall him due to concerns over lack of playing time.
The former Porto wideman is yet to feature in the Premier League since joining in the summer.
He has just made two appearances in the Capital One Cup against Hartlepool and Preston largely due to injuries and lack of playing time.
