Ghana’s Minister of Youth and Sports, Dr. Mustapha Ahmed has assured Ghanaians that the Government White Paper issued after the recommendations of the Dzamefe Commission shall be fully implemented.
President John Dramani Mahama set up the Presidential Commission of Inquiry to investigate what led to the abysmal performance of the Black Stars in the 2014 World Cup in Brazil.
The Presidential Commission of Inquiry chaired by Justice Senyo Dzamefe made some recommendations after six months exercise upon which a Government White Paper was issued.
Many Ghanaians have been anxious to see the accepted recommendations of the PCI implemented as supported by the White Paper.
And the Minister of Youth and Sports has assured Ghanaians that the White Paper shall be implemented.
Speaking in an interview with Nhyira FM in Kumasi, the disappointed NDC Parliamentary Candidate for Ayawaso North Constituency said, “The White Paper shall be fully implemented. There are phases of the document that needs to be addressed by various bodies. They are currently on it and very soon, Ghanaians shall here what will be done.”
