Kotoko have been handed a massive transfer boost with news that long-time target Ollenu Ashitey has put in a transfer request at Hearts.
The 21-year-old is reported to have handed in a transfer request at the club as he attempts to force through a move away from the club.
Persistent injuries rocked his campaign with the former African champions last season but it appears he is no longer happy and wants to move on.
Ashitey has long been linked with a move to Kotoko with the latest news expected to boost the side’s chances of landing the talented winger.
The player appears to have fallen out with the Hearts top hierarchy as he seeks a new adventure.
It’s yet to be known if Hearts will sanction his appeal as he still has a year left on his current deal
