Ghana defender Daniel Amartey is in line to join English Premier League giants Liverpool. His agent has confirmed.
The 21-year-old could be making his way to Anfield after Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp inquired about his services.
The FC Copenhagen center-back could be making his dream move to the Premiership after initially missing out on an opportunity to play for Leicester City having failed to secure 70 percent of National team action which could grant him the opportunity to play in England’s top-flight.
He is however said to be on the wish list of the English Club who are eager to augment their squad when the January transfer window opens.
German Clubs Wolfsburg and Schalke as well as French sides Olympique Marseille and Monaco, have all shown interest in securing the signature of the talented defender.
“Many top established European clubs are interested in him. The French clubs are no exception. There are scouts who watch him in every game. Today, Daniel is ready to move quickly to join a club of a higher level”, Cetinkaya revealed to Footafrica365.
The Black Stars defender scored three goals in 29 appearances for Copenhagan last season in the Danish-top flight.
