National Chapters Committee Chairman (NCC) and a Board member of Hearts of Oak, Barimah Attuahene has hinted of resigning from the club’s board following the induction of Vincent Sowah-Odotei and Alhaji Braimah Akanbi on to the club’s board.

During the last Board meeting of the Oak family, the Board Chairman of the Accra giants, Togbe Afede XIV co-opted former CEO of the club Sowah-Odotei and former NCC Chairman Alhaji Akanbi onto the club’s board.

Reports from the Board Meeting indicated that Barimah Atuahene walked out of the meeting upon the induction of the two on the club’s board to register his disagreement and displeasure.

Sources close to Barimah Attuahene have disclosed to GHANAsoccernet.com that the supporters chief is contemplating of resigning from the club’s board.

‘Barimah Attuahene is the supporters leader and he is not happy with the current decision taken by the Board Chairman. He felt Odotei and Akanbi have nothing positive to offer and if the Board Chairman doesn’t rescind his decision he has no other option than to quit his position at the board,’ the source told Ghanasoccernet.

Barimah Atuahene is reported to have claimed that the former NCC Chiarman Alhaji Akanbi has squandered the resources of the Oak family which could not be substantiated.

The current NCC Chairman, Atuahene, is said to have been a great critic of the two who have been co-opted onto the board and sources indicate that it will be difficult for the three to work in harmony.
