Black Stars deputy skipper Andre Ayew was the only Ghanaian player to record a victory in the English Premier League on Boxing day after Swansea beat West Bromwich 1-0.
Aston Villa needed a late penalty from Jordan Ayew to rescue a point against West Ham United.
Christian Atsu was visibly missing from the Bournemouth team that played out a 0-0 draw game against Crystal Palace.
Defender Abdul- Baba Rahman who was on the bench for Chelsea but his side played out a 2-2 draw game against a very hard working Watford side.
Andre Ayew played an important role to help his side pick up all three points against West Bromwich Albion.
Injured Jeffrey Schlupp watched from the stands as his high flyng Leicester finally succumb to 1-0 defeat at the hands of Liverpool.
